Biography: Debra Richardson
Diagnosed with MS providing her personal perspective
Debbie Richardson is a 46 year old “retired under protest” primary school teacher and became a PWMS about 8 years ago. She has had her ups and downs dealing with it. This will be the 4th time Debbie has participated in sessions organised by the MS Society. She is mum to two grown up children and is nana to Grace.
Abstract
Fatigue is one of the most common symptoms experienced by people with MS, and is reported by many as their worst symptom, not least because other people can’t see it. Through an MS nurse and a personal perspective, this workshop will look at types of fatigue and how to manage your energy effectively.
