Biography: Amanda Barrell
MS Research & Relief
Amanda has extensive teaching
experience as both a driving and flying
instructor. She learned to fly and taught
at Biggin Hill in Kent but now lives in
the Northeast where she became First
Officer with BA Citiexpress flying out of
Newcastle Airport.
She has been doing Tai Chi since 1993,
and has always been interested in how
things work, really enjoying the vast
subject matter ancient oriental martial art
offers. She stopped flying in search of a more settled and relaxing lifestyle and to
try and pass on her knowledge of this
technique to help others.
She has worked with many groups suffering from various conditions including MS, Parkinson’s, stroke, depression and balance problems. All have gained benefits and enjoyment from Tai Chi. Amanda has the support and positive feedback from various health professionals.
